L-citrulline supplementation is more effective in increasing L-arginine levels in the body rather than L-arginine because chemical reactions that occur. L-citrulline is implemented as a cardiovascular health and sports performance supplement. L-citrulline assists in reducing fatigue and enhancing endurance for both anaerobic and aerobic exercise.
